Training

The main goal of this training program is to help you or your company become more innovative and competitive through the understanding and utilization of the proven TRIZ methodology.

The program is designed to develop a basic awareness of TRIZ among key management and technical personnel. We believe learning takes place best with a “hands-on” approach. Therefore, all of our training contains elements of teaching and application. TIC strives to make our customers competent and confident in the application of TRIZ. Visit our Individual or Corporate training sections for more information.

TIC will train individuals either at our facility in Worcester, MA or onsite at your location.  Corporate training is more economically done at an onsite location of your choice.  For more information about either individual or corporate training curriculum, schedules and fees, please click on the appropriate page.

What the attendees are saying

“I appreciate the instruction and the easy exchange of information. This was positive. It was interesting and engaging to interact with others like me in the classroom setting.” B. Myrehn, Eli Lilly, USA

“Good application of tools for our Value Engineering program. I plan to include some of the tools as part of our VE curriculum.” F. Padron, Cameron, USA

“It was a great course. It will take some time to integrate the terminology differences, but I look forward to using TRIZ problem solving tools in the future.” M. Wootten, DRS Technologies, USA

“Great course – a good starting point for me. I would not have made as much progress on my own. Face-to-face interaction & ability to have Q&A was valuable.” Prof. L. Gilbertson, Tulane University, USA

“Excellent information! Well worth the time and travel to learn this methodology.” C. Johnson, Fesco Systems, USA

“I found the content of the presentation to be very interesting, not only because of its relevance to helping engineers improve their ability to problem-solve, but also because I am innovating with new types of knowledge rather than patents. I found the idea of actively searching for and resolving the contradiction of a system to be an applicable method to innovating in other non-technical systems.” J. Cromwell, Harvard Business School, USA

“This workshop provided an excellent opportunity to learn TRIZ. The content was rich – both broadly applied and in-depth. The format was engaging in bridging theory and practice.” M. Pierce, Oregon Institute of Technology, USA

“Upon completing your Workshop, I can say that my mind was infected with TRIZ, and I cannot look at the world the same way I looked at it before. TRIZ applications are all around me.” K. Worrest, MilTech, USA

“Perspective and methodologies are illuminating and practically useful. I look forward to employing this knowledge.” J. LaCarrubba, Stericycle, Inc. USA

“I just initiated my application of TRIZ to a real-world, Hamilton Beach problem. I was able to determine two realistic ideas to explore. Solutions in minutes.” M. Garman, Hamilton Beach, USA

“Excellent interaction between class members and the instructor. Discussion and reflection are required to settle the material and the concepts.” Poulsen, Innovation Manager, GEA, Denmark

“Provided an excellent opportunity to learn about TRIZ. The content was rich – both broadly applied and in-depth. The format was engaging with great discussion to help bridge the theory and the practice.” Pierce, Program Director, Oregon University of Technology, USA
