6/15/2009 - TRAINING: TIC provided a 1 day TRIZ overview for 40 small business people in Traverse City, MI. This was a very successful workshop with potential for follow on training and consulting.

5/25/2009 - TRAINING: TIC provided a 2 day TRIZ workshop for a diverse group of participants in Auburn Hills, MI. Attendees were amazed about simplicity and effectiveness of the methodology.

5/25/2009 - TRAINING: V. Krasnoslobodtsev, TRIZ Specialist, provided Module 4, a five day TRIZ Workshop of our training cycle in Istanbul, Turkey, had 16 participants. Part of their workshop experience was to solve a real problem for their company. The results were spectacular. Over 36 patents applications were developed and submitted to the company patent office. This has been one of the strongest classes developed at this company.

4/15/2009 - TRAINING: TIC provided a 2 hour TRIZ introduction to a graduate computer science class at UMass Lowell. Students and professor were receptive to these new ideas. We hope to expand TRIZ into the Engineering College.

2/15/2009 - TRAINING: V. Krasnoslobodtsev, TRIZ Specialist, provided Module 1, a five day TRIZ Workshop of our training cycle in Istanbul, Turkey. The Workshop had 18 participants. All participants of the Apprentice workshop passed their test successfully. Each of them also worked very well during the last workshop and shown excellent creative abilities. All 18 will be recommended to take the training for Practitioner.

12/11/2008 - TRAINING: TIC has completed a 2 day workshop for a large pharmaceutical company in the US. Comments were very positive, “materials, examples, and exercises were conducive to thorough learning” and that continued deployment of TRIZ in this company would be a valuable resource in improving productivity.

11/30/2008 - PUBLICATION: Richard Langevin, CEO of Technical Innovation Center, Inc. has published an article in MAKE magazine, Vol. 16, November 2008. “MEET TRIZ” is the title of the piece. In this article Mr. Langevin describes how he became involved with TRIZ and includes brief overview of TRIZ and Altshuller’s work.

11/11/2008 - TRAINING: TIC has received confirmation that it will be delivering another complete cycle of training to one of its customers in Istanbul, Turkey during 2009.

9/12/2008 - TRAINING: V. Krasnoslobodtsev, TRIZ Specialist, has completed the second cycle of training at Arcelik in Istanbul, Turkey. As a result of this five module training cycle, eight engineers after completing 200 hours of training were certified as TRIZ Specialists. During the course of their training, they solved more than 20 industrial problems/projects and developed 30+ potential patent applications.

8/15/2008 - TRAINING: V. Krasnoslobodtsev, TRIZ Specialist, has completed a 4 day TRIZ Workshop for a leading manufacturer in the Midwest. The workshop for eight people was successful with the development of numerous solution concepts for overcoming two design problems. TIC anticipates that more workshops will be held in the future.

5/17/2007 - PRESENTATION: Richard Langevin, CEO, presented "An Overview of TRIZ" to the Worcester Chapter of American Society of Quality at the Marriott Hotel in Marlboro. The 60+ participants overflowed the room but actively participated in the 1 hour presentation.

5/16/2007 - PRESENTATION: Richard Langevin, CEO, presented "Embracing Contradictions" to the New Haven Chapter of American Society of Quality at Brazi's restaurant. Most of the 20+ participants were new to TRIZ and enjoyed a fresh approach to problem solving.

5/7/2007 - TRAINING: Valery "Kraev" Krasnoslobodtsev is continuing his development of a TRIZ Team for a manufacturing in Istanbul, Turkey. This final week of training will result in certification of 24 Practitioners. Our practical approach to training and application has developed skilled TRIZ users and numerous new patents for the company. Immediate ROI by the company makes it easy for them to support our training efforts and to continue with the training and development of their engineers.

4/23/2007 - CONFERENCE: Richard Langevin, CEO and Executive Director of the Altshuller Institute, will be managing the 9th Annual International TRIZ Conference - TRIZCON2007 in Louisville, KY. This 3 day Conference is the center piece of the Institute's year long efforts to promote TRIZ globally. Over 150 people attended this year's Conference from 16 different countries. In 1999, when the first conference was held in Detroit, MI., it was the only TRIZ Conference held outside of Russia. Last year, there were six TRIZ conferences held around the world. The Altshuller Institute is providing a valuable service and fulfilling its mandate to promote TRIZ to the world.

10/12/2006 - PRESENTATION: On the 10th of October, our chief TRIZ technology officer, Valery Krasnoslobodtsev, was a tutorial speaker on ARIZ and its applications at the ETRIA Conference in Belgium. He also presented a paper about Modeling of Physical Contradictions.

9/30/2006 - TRAINING: From the 25th to the 29th of September, our chief TRIZ technology officer, Valery Krasnoslobodtsev, trained employees of a Turkish comapny. In the 40 hour course, Dr. Krasnoslobodtsev trained about 25 students in Introductory TRIZ theory.

9/3/2006 - PRESENTATION: On the 1st of September, our chief TRIZ technology officer, Valery Krasnoslobodtsev, presented a paper at the Second TRIZ Symposium in Japan. This half hour presentation was about modeling of physical contradictions.

9/3/2006 - TRAINING: On the 28th of August, our chief TRIZ technology officer, Valery Krasnoslobodtsev, taught a TRIZ seminar at the Tokyo World Trade Center for about 80 specialists from different Japanese companies. This was a seminar held just prior to the Second TRIZ Symposium in Japan.

5/4/2006 - PRESENTATION: On the 1st of May, our chief TRIZ technology officer, Valery Krasnoslobodtsev, presented a paper at the eighth annual TRIZCON in Milwaukee, WI. The paper was on the subject of Applied TRIZ in High-Tech Industry.

4/22/2006 - TRAINING: On the 20th and 21st of April, our chief TRIZ technology officer, Valery Krasnoslobodtsev, held a training seminar in Oporto, Portugal for employees of various companies from cities around Portugal. In the 16 hour course organized by QTEL, Lda., Dr. Krasnoslobodtsev trained about 30 students in Introductory TRIZ theory.
