The Associate course was described as covering the concepts required for the Associate examination. The virtual workshop said the Institute’s exam followed the class.
Certification
Technical Innovation Center prepares people for TRIZ certification and described the tests as administered by the Altshuller Institute.
The old certification page called certification a record that a person has reached a level of TRIZ knowledge and can use it. It said TIC certifies in accordance with the Altshuller Institute, and it called the Institute one of two international certification organizations. A candidate must pass a test given by an Institute proctor.
Levels defined by the Institute
Practitioner
Named with Associate and Specialist as one of the three primary levels. The later training page said further training and experience could lead here.
Specialist
The third primary level on the certification page. A training page also used the title TRIZ Expert for a further stage. The two pages do not use the same final title.
What the old training pages required
The corporate program said graduates would receive certification from the Altshuller Institute, and that expert level depended on demonstrated ability and on certification rules that can change.
The certification page said the detailed prerequisites for each level were on the Altshuller Institute website. Those pages were not part of the text kept for this rebuild. The Institute’s site is aitriz.org.
TODO. Confirm the current level names, the prerequisites for each level, who proctors, and the current test fees. The 2022 training schedule printed an added $250 for certification testing and an Institute membership. An onsite Associate note printed an added $300 per person for the Institute’s Associate test. A 3-day Associate page printed $2,550 per person, which it said included an apprentice testing fee. None of those figures is offered here as a current price.
